Requirements of Membership
To be considered a Member of any class, a person must submit to the PO Box, the club secretary or on-line the following forms along with his/her timely payment of fees (if applicable):1) a completed Membership Application complete with volunteer commitments; and
2) an indemnification and liability waiver. Additionally, a Member must provide to the Corporation volunteer services, as required by the Executive Committee, necessary to further the goals and mission of the Corporation. Since GCRA’s most important function is to host regattas, all members are expected to volunteer for the Midwest Masters Sprints and the Speakmon Regatta- either at the event, on projects ahead of time or both, in addition to other GCRA volunteer requirements like attending boathouse repairs and cleanups, committee service, dock cleaning, etc.
