Description

SBC is designed to introduce new GCRA members to rowing singles & doubles; this leads to becoming “independent” rowers (i.e., able to row sculling boats on your own or with other intermediate scullers sans coxswains and/or coaches).

SBC is the first step to becoming an intermediate and totally independent sculler. Upon completion of the 4-week session, you will have the opportunity to continue to practice your technique with experienced sculling buddies….leading up to your intermediate sculling test.

Prerequisites
  1. Must be a graduate of LTR1 & LTR2 or have equivalent experience.
  2. Must be a current equipment usage member of GCRA.
  3. Must have watched the GCRA equipment handling video prior to the first SBC session.
  4. Must have read GCRA rules and regulations prior to first SBC session
New Update!Registration is now open for upcoming Small Boats Classes! To register, go to Regatta Central, click on the Learn to Row tab and find GCRA.

note: Dues for rowing programs are in addition to the base GCRA membership fee and any applicable equipment usage fee.
