5th Annual GCRA Rowing Camp for Scullers
The 5th Annual GCRA Rowing Camp will be held on June 17th, 18th and 19th. This is a sculling camp. To be eligible to participate in this camp, you should have completed LTR 1, LTR 2 and Small Boats Class, or have Intermediate experience in sculling from another club.
The camp is being scheduled by Milt Puckett and Mark Wilson so we hope to meet everyone's needs while on and off the water. We will also be stressing some off water activity this year with stretching and core strengthening. Please find the schedule listed below, we will be offering AM and PM sessions for the group to keep the cost down and to allow more rowers to attend the camp. This year's staff additions include Gregg Hartsuff (Head Mens Coach at Michigan) as well as other national caliber coaches from across the country. Actual staff will be set soon.
Do not hesitate to contact Milt or Mark to discus any thoughts or needs prior to signing up and realize as well that we will be available for all personal and club boat rigging as well.

Tuesday June 17
9:30 Arrive at Boathouse- Rig boats, look over, equipment, set up.
10:00 Meet Rowers for row #1 at Boathouse
Noon end of first session with lunch and video
1-6:00 PM group rowing, boat set up and video
7:00 Dinner at ???
Wednesday June 18
7-Noon Meet at boathouse for AM group rowing and video
Noon Lunch at Boathouse for both groups- Video for all
1-6:00 PM group rowing and video
7:00 Dinner at ???
Thursday June 19
7-Noon Meet at boathouse for AM group rowing and video
Noon Lunch at Boathouse for Both Groups: Questions and Review
1-3:00 PM group row and de-rig, cleanup and depart Columbus
The cost for GCRA Members is $250 for coaching fees (see registration form) and $50 for food Includes: Six rowing and review sessions, Camp Bag, Camp Socks, Camp hat, Camp towel, personalized rigging of 1x, 2x and team boat and plenty of fun on and off the water.
